Jehovah's Witnesses have been in Russia for over 126 years and their numbers have had peaks and troughs depending on the economic and political environment and the prejudice, and at times persecution that they have faced since 1891. So for the JW's it is a shame but no surprise that the latest religious prejudicial campaign by activists against the witnesses for over ten years has culminated in the latest restrictions of over 170,000 Jehovah's Witnesses that currently try to practice their faith in mostly all parts of Russia. Is the latest verdict going to stop them? NO, not in my opinion in fact they often grow when persecuted. ...........
