Twitter decided it was hateful conduct! |
The MT, specializes mainly in the United Kingdom where there are currently around 500 estimated cults or sects, closed communities mostly happily coexisting and living peacefully with the many other established religious groups and those with no spiritual faith within the UK.
If you were to actively speak out or demonstrate outside mainstream religious premises or attack those organisations and pursue them publicly then you walk a fine line within the law in the UK.
This is why the MT has become concerned on the lengths that some activists go when it comes to a established religious organisation called Jehovah's Witnesses. We will be exploring this in two parts and here is:
Part 1-
We ask is this criticism of faith or a more of a organised campaign of hate against Jehovah's Witnesses? We let you decide...
Polly the Parrott @PoliticsPos1 is a shared account on Twitter and Polly kindly sent in this report on what it was like to spend a couple of days or so with online activists that spend a great deal of time criticizing the Jehovah's Witnesses as they hunt in packs on the social media platform called Twitter.
Here are some of the many screen shots of how Polly got on with the JW activists and an in depth post in Part 2, will be posted here soon...
We start off with how other people on twitter are rebuked or dismissed if they do not agree with JW activists. Here is a typical example. Unfortunately we can only show a few here as many of them were too explicit in their content to show. In-conclusion Twitter decided it was hateful and abuse, harassment in some cases. But in part two we explore why do they hate the JWs so much? Twitter has begun to take action against some of the twitter accounts, here are some mild examples of the tweets.
It was from this point that Polly after seeing this happen time and again to people by other self proclaimed apostates or activists that Polly began to engage along with a couple of other people who actually spend their time defending the Jehovah's Witnesses even though some of those no longer belong and have left or been disfellowshipped themselves.
What you see here below is typical of their behavior when they began to realize that Polly was a little knowledgeable on the JW faith.
In conclusion these were the only ones we could put up as many of them were really nasty in fact Twitter has already taken action about a number of JW activists tweets over the past year and we hope they take further action. In-conclusion Twitter decided it was hateful and was abuse and harassment in some cases. But in part two we explore why do they hate or strongly dislike the JWs so much? Part Two can be found here
